Lead DevOps & SRE Current
Working on the Amélio Inc. (Canada-based SaaS) engagement: replaced a fully manual, RDP-based deployment process with Azure DevOps CI/CD and a self-service environment-cloning platform — removing 10-12 manual steps and supporting 15-20 concurrent environments. Took the platform from zero monitoring to a full observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki — 7 dashboards, 21 alerts). Owns production incident response end-to-end.

AI-Augmented Engineering
I've helped my current engineering team adopt AI-assisted, agentic development practices, integrating AI coding tools into day-to-day development and DevOps workflows. I completed a 16-week Applied AI Engineering cohort covering MCP, RAG, vector databases, agents, evaluation, and transformers, and hold the AWS Certified AI Practitioner certification. A public example of this direction: gemini-devops-demo on GitHub, built for a Google I/O Extended talk.
Speaking & Content
I speak at local tech meetups and conferences — six talks since November 2023, most recently on Ansible (Doon Tech Meetup, May 2026) and automating DevOps for Gemini AI (GDG I/O Extended 2025). Past topics include NestJS API development (DevFest 2023, GDG Dehradun), Docker and Kubernetes (Doon Tech Meetup), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (GDG Dehradun DevRel Squad). I mentor junior engineers, online and offline, and write about platform and DevOps topics at blogs.amanpreet.dev.
